A Letter To My Dog (Book)

The other day I was flipping through a recent People magazine when an article about dogs caught my attention.  Actually it was about a book coming out November 21st filled with pictures of celebrities and their dogs. Granted, that's nothing special in this day of easily accessible web images.  What is special are the heartfelt notes each celebrity has written to their beloved dog(s).

A Letter To My Dog: Notes To Our Best Friends is an amazing collection of of 180 pages filled with heartfelt letters and magical moments captured by Pulitzer Prize-nominated photojournalist Robin Laytonis celebrating the unconditional love we all share with our canine companions. Celebrities include Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Anniston, Michael Varton, Tony Bennett, Fran Drescher, Kelly Preston, Hilary Duff, Chelsea Handler, and Mariel Hemingway, to name a few. Some of the letters are so profound while others are simply humorous!

Our dogs talk to us all the time with a wagging tail, a pair of raised ears or a simple nudge.  Their eyes speak volumes to those of us paying attention so why not speak back in the form of a letter or note  to say thank you for their love, loyalty and devotion.
